Jamie Barber, co-founder of Cabana, Ed Standring, former managing director of Richoux Group, and Ian Neill, former chief executive of Wagamama, have teamed up to acquire Haché, the multi award-winning gourmet burger group.

The group has restaurants in Camden, Chelsea, Clapham, Balham and Shoreditch and was established more than 12 years ago by founders Berry and Suzie Casey. Berry Casey said: “Haché is ready for expansion and I feel Jamie and Ed are the right people to steer the brand in realising its true potential.”

Barber added: “Haché is the daddy of them all and started the premium burger movement back in 2004. We are delighted to be involved.”

Standring, who stepped down today (Wednesday, 21 September) as managing director of Richoux Group, said: “We are thrilled to be working with such a well-loved brand. We are planning a gentle programme of refurbishments over the next 12 months while bedding in new systems and integrating the business. We’re excited about the potential of the brand and its people.”
