South London has been eagerly awaiting its branch of the Barrio Bars which feels long overdue after East, Central and North have been established for some time. With not long left to wait, it’ll be opening this month and they’ve picked the perfect spot for it too; it will sit on Acre Lane in Brixton adding to the vibrant scene of bars and restaurants recently opened in this part of town.

Bringing the unique Barrio Latino flair to the area, the bar is likely to see South London dwellers flocking there for great cocktails and exceptional food. With a menu designed by the brilliant Ernesto Paiva, expect Peruvian street-food inspired dishes, alongside Latin craft beers and a range of pisco and tequila filled cocktails.

Previews of the space already indicate Barrio Brixton will follow suit of the other Barrio bars with a brightly coloured interior, using up-cycled and reclaimed materials to create a fun and playful environment.

With an outdoor space, live music and dancing until the early hours on the weekend, Barrio Brixton will be the perfect spot to eat, drink and be merry on any night of the week.
