The Company

Our client is an established, dynamic, progressive, firm providing a seamless ecosystem of shopping, eating and leisure venues, combined with office workspace and serviced apartments to the leisure and corporate market. Due to their continued success, and phenomenal growth strategy, this modern and forward-thinking company is actively seeking to appoint a Head of New Business Development to establish and then build and head up the proactive sales team of this iconic London venue.

The Role

The prime focus of this Head of Department role is to provide leadership to the London business development and account management teams and to influence, develop, implement sales standards and behaviours, designed to drive performance, revenue and profitability for the business. Influence, execute and monitor the sales strategy which targets significant growth in the next 3-5 years. Lead, motivate and engage a growing team, realise and bring to life the firm’s sales purpose.

The new Head of New Business Development will have these key essential attributes:

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience with a demonstrated track record of accomplishments in a Senior Sales and Business Expansion role – ideally in the Serviced Apartment industry
  • Experience working in the Hospitality or Travel sector
  • At least 5 years’ experience as a people manager
  • A proactive approach, the ability to be creative and find new ways of generating revenue
  • Exceptionally well networked within the extended stay/travel industry
  • Used to working and developing business relationships from senior executive level downwards
  • Proven track record in winning profitable accounts from major corporates
  • Drivers Licence
